Gabrielle Allingham is completing a computational mathematics program at MUN’s Grenfell Campus. Originally from Brig Bay, Gabrielle plans to graduate from her program in spring 2017.

In high school, Gabrielle was a big part of many programs. She was involved with student council, a leadership group that allowed her to travel to many parts of the province to attend various leadership conferences. She also played with sports teams, was involved in her school’s public speaking, and was heavily involved in her school’s drama program. Gabrielle attended many festivals with drama, where she won both individual and ensemble awards. Gabrielle also scored an interview for the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award in 2013, where she received an honorable mention.

In the future, Gabrielle has looked into potentially completing a business program. She says there are many future career choices available with her degree, and says “to be able to do something I love and am good at as a career would be amazing”.
